Taking action

Community engagement is extremely important to our team.

This our opportunity to give back to the community, volunteering time and design efforts to help illustrate a vision of community enhancement and motivate others to get involved in helping to see the projects to fruition.

Coal Tipple Preservation and Park Improvement

We illustrated and designed improvements to maximize the potential use of the space for the future.

Bolt Park Play

We worked with fellow rotary members and community leaders to obtain grant funding for park improvements.

Grand Haven Imagination Station

As a part of the Steering Committee, we worked with over 100 local children and accessibility experts to create the design. To be a part of a project that creates a truly accessible playspace for all abilities was incredible, and, in October 2018, we utilized over 1,600 volunteer hours to build the Imagination Station 2.0 in one week. Magda even got to create a few special surprises for the kids.

Rotary is where neighbors, friends, and problem-solvers share ideas, join leaders, and take action to create lasting change.
